Just wow! What an incredible night we had at our Superbowl Goes To Hollywood movie fundraiser celebrating our cast and everyone who contributed to this very special fundraiser for a very special cause. With 26 mini fundraisers in operation since last October, the work has been relentless but seeing 650 bums on seats all cheering on their favourite act made it all worthwhile. It was a night that will live long in the memory with some phenomenal performances on show. Who knew there was such local talent in the community?! That sense of togetherness is exactly what the new Community Hub is all about 💕.
Too many people to name individually but a special mention to all of our cast, extras, venue providers, our incredibly hard working committee behind the scenes (ladies pls take another bow!) and of course LipSync Battles Ireland along with MC Kenny who brought it all together beautifully on the night.
Lastly our sponsors, without whom none of this is possible. We had main event sponsors, movie sponsors, award sponsors, full page ads, half page ads, you name it. And everyone responded with incredible generosity to help fuel this project. We'll be doing some dedicated posts on all of these amazing partners very shortly.
Huge congratulations to Derry Girls taking home the coveted best movie award (judges choice) 🎬.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and contributed in any way. It meant the world to us and we hope you enjoyed the experience too.
