🌟 Ireland Lights Up & Irish Life – Every Step Counts Challenge 2025 🚶♀️
As part of our Healthy Clubs initiative, Naomh Bríd is excited to participate in the 2025 ‘Ireland Lights Up’ and ‘Irish Life – Every Step Counts Challenge’.
🌙 ‘Ireland Lights Up’ encourages GAA clubs nationwide to light up their facilities, creating a safe and welcoming space for communities to walk or run together during the dark winter evenings . Alongside this, we’ve registered for the 2025 ‘Irish Life – Every Step Counts Challenge’ .
🏃♀️🏃♂️ Clubs that collectively cover 4,000km over five weeks (January 8th to February 12th) will be entered into a draw to win a share of €30,000 in club funding! Additionally, there are three €2,500 prizes available per province.
🛤️ Join us at the Superbowl walking track tomorrow Wednesday, January 8th @7-8pm as we host our event. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart the new year, stay active, socialise, and support the club! While we encourage everyone to join us for these gatherings, participation is flexible. You can still take part by walking on your own at a time and place that suits you. Every step counts toward our collective goal!
📱Participants are encouraged to download the ‘My Life’ app and follow the setup instructions to ensure steps are tracked using a smartphone or wearable device (e.g., Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit).

- Step 1: Download the ‘My Life’ App here > Download – My Life App by Irish Life.
- Step 2: Once you register, go to Social > Challenges > Leinster GAA > Naomh Brid GAA
- Step 3: Link your wearable tracker to the ‘My Life App’. Fitness wearables are not necessary, having your iOS/Android device in your pocket will record your steps via the Health App.
*The steps challenge is for over 18’s only, but all are welcome to come and take part in the exercising.*
