On Sunday, we came together to remember our great friend and teammate, Jonny, with a mixed 7-a-side blitz. Four teams took to the field, representing all the teams Jonny played for - Knockbeg College, Michael Davitts, Leighlinbridge, and, of course, Naomh Brid. We were blessed with the weather and dusted off the cobwebs for the year ahead with a true festival of hurling.  

It’s been over 10 years since Jonny left us, but his memory remains as strong as ever. We were honoured to have Joe, Kathleen, Patrick, and the rest of his family with us to celebrate his legacy. No doubt, Jonny was looking down fondly, watching his friends, teammates, and family enjoy the game he loved so much.
