What a journey. What a team. What a day.
Our Féile champions did us all proud yesterday as they travelled to Blackwater, Wexford to compete in Division 2 of the All-Ireland Féile. A big thanks to Aidan Nolan ANA Associates for the slick new gear, and to Brendan Hayden and the Carlow Colts for the unforgettable guard of honour at the Superbowl send-off.
Facing serious opposition in Oulart the Ballagh and Naas GAA, the lads grew into the tournament, found their rhythm, and began to hurl with confidence and skill. The semi-final against Down champions Liatroim Fontenoys came down to the wire - a last-minute goal meant a one-point loss - but not before this group left everything on the field.
They dusted themselves down, grabbed a burger and an ice cream, and hit Curracloe beach for a well-earned recovery. 🌊🍔🍦
Sunshine, hurling, and craic with your best friends - memories for a lifetime! And as the dust settles, the lessons learned will no doubt stand to this group. 💪
A final word of thanks to our phenomenal management team — Morgan, Niall, Gavin, and Tom — who give everything to ensure this group never want for anything. Your commitment and care for these lads doesn't go unnoticed. Well done men and a sincere thank you. 👏👏👏
