Our Intermediates made it two wins from two last night with a hard fought win against Naomh Eoin. We started brightly again racing into a 4 point lead but Naomh Eoin on home turf kept chipping away and bringing the fight. Fiach O'Toole & Mikey Bambrick started to dominate midfield with Aaron Amond showing brilliantly up front ultimately ending up with 0-9 to his name, all from play.

Four points up at half time, we grabbed another couple after the break to stretch it out. But Naomh Eoin never gave in with frees keeping them in the game. Our defence did start to settle and win more of that crucial second ball. Shane Kirwan at 6, captain Adam Dunne at 3 in particular leading from the front.

This is a young team showing lots of endeavour and no little skill. We're extremely proud of them.

Another good victory coming hot on the heels from R1 last Wed. We go again next weekend vs MLR.
