JJ Kavanagh & Sons IHC R3 RESULT:
Naomh Bríd 2-17
MLR 0-11
Another good win for our Intermediate hurlers last night against a young, fast, and skilful MLR side. A minute’s silence was held before throw-in for Eileen Amond, grandmother of Aaron Amond, who sadly passed away this week. Aaron showed incredible resilience and commitment to the group, lining out and delivering another stellar performance. Playing with the breeze in the first half, we made a fast start and went in 1-10 to 0-3 up at the break. Determined to push on into the wind in the second half, the lads kept the scoreboard ticking with well-taken frees and some flowing team play.
That’s three wins from three heading into a well-earned BYE weekend next weekend. Still more to come - we go again in Round 4 against Burren Rangers in a couple of weeks. Well done to all players and management 🇧🇭.
Finally, a huge thanks to all the supporters who showed up to cheer on this group last night and of course our wonderful U10s who lined out for a mini-game at half time. It meant a lot 🙏.
