JJ Kavanagh and Sons IHC R5 Result:
Burren Rangers 1-19
Naomh Bríd 3-13
A teak-tough battle in Kilbride yesterday evening as hosts Burren Rangers dug deep to earn a share of the spoils. Mikey Bambrick lit things up with a goal in each half, but credit to BR who stayed dogged throughout, picking up plenty of breaking ball around the middle.
We went in four points up at the break (2-9 to 1-7) and looked to push on, but a few missed chances and frees conceded kept things tight right to the end.
Still, great spirit shown by the lads—even if a bit patchy at times—and there’s definitely more to come as we head into the business end of the championship.
Wishing Conor Carew a speedy recovery after a nasty knock. Thanks as always to our loyal supporters who made the trip 💟.
