As the saying goes, semi finals are there to be won and thankfully our lads got the job done yesterday. This one was never going to easy, Burren Rangers have been building nicely the past few years so a tough test was always on the cards. The breeze was a significant factor in this game, we opted to play with it in the first half racing into a 4 point lead. The work rate was good winning a lot of primary possession and we started to string some lovely moves together with Aaron Amond getting on the end of one to rattle the BR net. Frees kept BR ticking along while Tadhg O'Neill & Adam Dunne had some vital interceptions preventing a couple of goal chances.

The second half was always going to be a tricky affair. The wind picked up even further. We had to weather the storm. BR started to make inroads on the scoreboard and things got a little nervy. But this team is nothing if not resilient and our lads fronted up. John Murphy, Mikey Bambrick & Mark Fitz winning some crucial puck outs and important frees. There is a fantastic bond among this group and it showed when the chips were down.

We now have 2 adult teams contesting 2 county finals in 2 weeks time. We cannot wait 🙌.
